In the Electric Motor Control Lab, We play a lot of roles to design and drive inverter such as Drive and protective H/W design considering electrical characteristics of power semiconductors(IGBTs, SICs), Drive circuit(Gateboard) H/W design based on power electronics and circuit design principles, Selection of power semiconductor specifications considering inverter-motor system, Development of drive motor control algorithm to achieve high performance/high power density, Supports initial mapping, efficiency assessment and various performance assessments for new motors.
