KaAI, which stands for "Kookmin Automotive Artificial Intelligence," is a club focused on the study of automotive artificial intelligence. We aim to conduct research that applies artificial intelligence technology, a key area of the 4th industrial revolution, to advanced autonomous vehicles.
Our goal is to secure job opportunities at automobile and IT-related companies based on our expertise in this field. To achieve this, we immerse ourselves in various media to learn the fundamental principles of artificial intelligence and enhance our software development skills through projects that apply AI to the automotive industry.
Moreover, we aspire to present the outcomes of our projects at diverse domestic and international competitions, as well as academic conferences, with the aim of winning accolades that will help shape our future careers. As members of KaAI, we have access to cutting-edge sensors and equipments that are typically not available to undergraduate students, such as lidars, cameras, eye trackers, and driving simulators. Additionally, we have the opportunity to work with high-performance servers and gain hands-on experience with deep learning models.
Participating in domestic and foreign competitions, as well as academic conferences, provides us with invaluable experiences and opportunities that go beyond what is available to undergraduate students. We can expand our knowledge, establish professional networks, and further enhance our credentials by publishing papers in prestigious academic conferences and journals.
