KOOBIL(Kookmin Mobility) is an academic club that researches various future mobility, including UAM(Urban Air Mobility), and participates in related competitions.
KOOBIL's main activities include conducting research on various fields such as UAM's flying vehicle, flight infrastructure, and service, and participating in related academic competitions for winning a prize. The areas of research are as follows.
- - Airframe Creation: eVTOL production and automatic flight designed using CATIA, ANSYS, etc
- - Spatial Information: Infrastructure construction and Vertiport location using QGIS
- - Social Acceptance: Collecting and analyzing UAM-related data using various tools
- - Regulatory Innovation: Exploration of Regulations and Regulations for UAM Commercialization
- - Drone: Making a drone to fit the mission
Our club has won a number of awards by participating in various academic conferences such as the UAM Olympiad, the UAM Digital Design Competition, and the Korean Robot Aircraft Competition. You can learn a wide range of knowledge about UAM by studying various fields necessary for the UAM operation process and participating in the competition.
By conducting research on eVTOL design and operational infrastructure by referring to the K-UAM development roadmap and the current status and development stage of the UAM industry, we can broaden our knowledge of the UAM industry, which is currently attracting worldwide attention. In addition, based on engineering knowledge, we communicate with club members in each field who can use various programs such as CATIA, QGIS, ANSYS, and XFLR5 to carry out projects with team members. Through this, we can develop our personal capabilities as an engineering student as well as the ability to carry out projects with our team members.
