SEA:ME@KOREA 는 독일 폭스바겐 그룹의 글로벌 교육 프로그램의 일환으로, 자동차 소프트웨어(SW) 개발 역량을 강화하는 것을 목표로 하는 자동차융합대학 소속 소모임입니다.

모든 학습은 동료 간 학습(Peer to Peer)으로 진행 되며, 독일 현지에서 진행되는 프로그램을 국내에서도 진행합니다.

3개의 팀으로 이루어져 활동하고 있으며, F1tenth팀은 하드웨어 개조 및 자율주행 기술 개발을 통한 다양한 알고리즘 및 구현을 하며, F1tenth 자율주행 레이싱 경진대회에 참여합니다.
Truck Platooning 팀은 시뮬레이터에서 트럭 군집 주행을 구현하기 위한 다양한 알고리즘을 개발합니다. 팀원들은 특정 주행 시나리오를 설정하고 기술적인 논의를 거쳐 개발을 진행하며, 자율주행 시스템에 필요한 핵심 기술을 구현하고 연구합니다.
Infotainment 팀은 Instrument Cluster와 헤드 유닛 등 차량 내 인포테인먼트 시스템의 기능을 설계하고 구현합니다. 이후 다양한 차량 환경에서의 성능과 사용자 경험을 고려하여 최적화 작업을 진행하며, 직관적인 UI/UX 설계와 신뢰성 높은 소프트웨어 개발에 집중합니다.
이러한 활동들을 통하여 학술대회에 참가하여, 논문을 투고하고, 각종 경진대회에 참여합니다.

SEA:ME@KOREA is a student-led academic group under the College of Automotive Convergence, formed as part of the global education initiative by the Volkswagen Group in Germany. The group aims to strengthen software development capabilities in the automotive field.

The group consists of three teams:
F1TENTH Team focuses on hardware modification and the development of autonomous driving technologies, implementing various algorithms and participating in F1TENTH autonomous racing competitions.
Truck Platooning Team develops algorithms for truck platooning in a simulator environment. Team members define specific driving scenarios and collaborate through technical discussions to implement and research core technologies essential for autonomous driving systems.
Infotainment Team designs and implements functions for in-vehicle infotainment systems, such as instrument clusters and head units. The team focuses on optimization based on performance and user experience across different vehicle environments, emphasizing intuitive UI/UX design and reliable software development.

Through these activities, the group participates in academic conferences, submits research papers, and takes part in various engineering competitions.
